Sharon has been certified to teach elementary education (nursery - 8th grade) since 1973, special education (K-12th grade) since 1991, and Orton-Gillingham reading since 1999.

Sharon received her B.A. from Queens College majoring in Elementary Education.  Special Education (Teacher of the Handicapped) certification from Rutgers University. Title 1 Orton-Gillingham teacher with IMSLEC certification,   Masters Degree in Learning Disabilities,  and Dyslexia certification from Fairleigh Dickenson University.

Sharon is currently working on her LDTC certification at Fairleigh Dickinson University.
